Barbecued Turkey

Ingredients

  • For 10 pounds boneless turkey breast
  • 1 pint wesson oil
  • 1 quart seven-up
  • 1 pint soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Marinade in plastic container with a cover.
Combine all ingredients and stir thoroughly, making sure of a good mixture.
Marinade for 18 to 24 hours before barbecuing.
Barbecue slowly, do not over cook or burn.
Turn frequently, dipping into barbeque sauce with each turn of the meat.
Cook until meat is white when cut into with a knife.
To store any leftover meat, cover meat completely with the barbeque sauce and store in an airtight plastic bag or container and freeze or refrigerate. May be heated later in a microwave.
Use within six months if frozen.
