Baked Salmon with Dill Sauce

Try to use wild Salmon or Sockeye Salmon. Atlantic Salmon is farmed and fed horrible stuff, like chicken poop, as food. Don't eat Atlantic Salmon!!!

Ingredients

  • Dill Sauce:
  • 1 Salmon fillet (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 -1 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • 6 lemon slices
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 3/4 tsp dill weed
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

1. Line a 15 x 10 inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil; grease lightly. Place the salmon with the skin side down on the foil. Sprinkle with lemon-pepper and onion salt. Top with onion and lemon. Dot with butter. Fold foil around salmon and seal tightly.
2. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a preheated oven, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
3. Combine the sauce ingredients until smooth and serve with the salmon.
