Judy's Sweet Potato Casserole

A must for Thanksgiving!!

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed - approximately 4 cups
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbls melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 Tbls butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix 1st 7 ingredients in a bowl. In microwaveable bowl, melt butter , then add the brown sugar and water.
Pour this mixture over sweet potato mixture.
Sprinkle pecans on top and bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until it bubbles and middle is thick
