Ingredients
- 12 c. peeled, cored, and chopped tomatoes
- 2-12 oz cans tomatoe paste
- 3 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. bottled lemon juice
- 6 jalepenos, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 c. assorted peppers-chopped
- 1 tbsp ground cumin-optional
- 2 tbsp oregano leaves-chopped
- 4-6 cloves garlic-finely chopped
- 1 tsp black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle hot into pint jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Boil lids and put lids and rings on jars. Then into hot water bath.
