Sloppy Turkey Joes

Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1-2 Tbsp seasoning blend
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp worchestershire
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar-optional
  • squirt of yellow mustard-optional
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

In pan cook diced onion in olive oil for 2-3 minutes, add ground turkey and bell pepper till cooked through.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
Serve on toasted whole wheat buns and top with shredded cheese if desired.
