Mongolian Beef

Ingredients

  • 8 oz sliced beef
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 onion, julienned
  • 6 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 oz chili oil
  • 2 oz oyster sauce
  • 1 oz sugar
  • 1 oz ginger, minced
  • 1 oz garlic, minced
  • 3 oz scallions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dark mushroom soy
  • salt and pepper tt
  • 4 oz Chinese brown sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate beef with egg, wine, cornstarch, and salt and pepper. In a hot wok with oil stir fry the beef, onion, and mushrooms until done. Remove beef and onion, set aside. Add ginger and garlic to brown off. Add oyster sauce, sugar, and chili and brown sauce. Bring to a boil to thicken. Add beef and vegetables and toss to mix and serve.
