Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup purpose flour 4 cups milk (I use half and half)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the sausage until browned. Stir in the butter until well blended, then stir in the flour until mixture is thick and pasty. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and bubbly . Season with salt and pepper. Serve over biscuits.
