Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 4 (6-ounce) farm-raised catfish fillets
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle both sides of fish with the spice mixture.

Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add fish; cook 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
