Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 slice bacon, cut up
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pound spinach, trimmed and washed
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Cook onion, bacon and garlic in oil, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp; reduce heat to low.
Stir in salt, pepper and nutmeg. Gradually add spinach. Toss just until spinach is wilted. Drizzle with lime juice.
