Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds green or wax beans
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Cook beans in salted water until tender but crisp.
Heat butter in frying pan; add onion and cook until tender and golden. Add drained beans to pan; stir in thyme, salt and pepper; cook over medium heat 3 or 4 minutes; Sprinkle with parsley.
