Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh chives or green onions
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, 2 tsp water, lemon juice, chives and pinch each granulated sugar, salt and pepper; set aside.
Cover and steam asparagus on rach above 1 inch boiling water until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Drain and arrange on plate; drizzle with sauce.
