Ingredients
- Topping:
- 3 Eggs
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 3 Cups Chopped Apples
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 8 Tbs. Margarine
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Beat eggs. Add sugar and oil and mix well. Add flour and baking soda and beat well to blend. Fold in apples and vanilla. Spoon into greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. To prepare topping combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring to a full, rolling boil. Boil for 2 1/2 minutes. Spread over slightly cooled cake.
