Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 1 Stick butter or margarine
  • 3 Eggs (separated)
  • 3/4 C. Canned milk
  • 1 1/2 TBS. Flour
  • 1 Unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Mix Sugar and butter until smooth. Add 3 egg yokes only. Add canned milk and flour, and beat until smooth.

Beat egg yolks until stiff. Fold into egg mixture.

Pour into pie shell.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees
Bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees
