Old Fashioned Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c canola oil
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c molasses
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Cream oil and sugar together. Add egg and molasses.

Mix all dry ingredients together and slowly add to creamed mixture.

Chill dough for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Roll into balls dip in sugar.

Use ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375' for about 10 minutes.
