BING CHERRY JELLO SALAD

Ingredients

  • 1 large can dark sweet cherries
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 2 pkg. black cherry jello
  • 1 can coca-cola

Preparation

Step 1

Drain cherries (preserving juice) and place in a large bowl. Add nuts, drained pineapple (preserving juice). Heat the cherry and pineapple juice to boiling and dissolve the jello in it. Add coca-cola and enough water to bring the total liquid measure to 3 ½ cups. In 9x13 dish pour half of jello mixture and chill until set. When partially set, add cherries, pineapple and nuts. Spread on top of this layer a mixture of 8 oz. cream cheese, 4 oz. sour cream and 2 T. milk. Pour remaining jello and cherry mixture on top and chill until set.
