Lemon Loaves

This is a favourite of mine. Nice texture

Ingredients

• 6 Tblsp butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup cream
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 Tblsp grated lemon peel
• GLAZE
• 1/3 cup lemon juice
• 3 Tblsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar and 1 egg at a time in large bowl.

Add next 5 ingredients. Beat till moist.

Bake 350* for 30-40 min.

Let cool in pan

When cool remove and drizzle with glaze
