Ingredients
- Filling:
- 3 1/2 Cups Sliced Pears
- 4 Small Tart Apples, sliced
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tbs. Flour
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp. Grated Lemon Peel
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 1 9" Unbaked Pie Shell
- Crumb Topping:
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 3 oz. Cream Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Combine pears and apples. Combine sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Stir into fruit mixture and add lemon juice, lemon peel, and raisins. Pile into pie shell. Dot with butter. To prepare topping, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in cream cheese until crumbly. Add walnuts and toss. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
