Fettuccine Milano

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Roasted garlic fettuccine, uncooked
  • 6 T margarine or butter, divided
  • 4 c sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 lb sliced prosciutto or ham, chopped (optional)
  • 1 c frozen peas, thawed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 T butter; add mushrooms and prosciutto, if desired.

Cook, stirring frequently for 5 min or until mushrooms are tender. Add peas; heat through. Add remaining butter; stir until melted.

Toss hot pasta thoroughly with mushroom mixture; season to taste with salt, pepper and cheese, if desired
