Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 egg
- Caramel ice cream topping
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.
Place chopped apples in a bowl with lemon juice.
Combine all dry ingredients in small bowl and set aside. Cream butter and sugar together in separate bowl. Stir in egg, vanilla, and orange juice to butter mixture. Slowly, add in dry ingredients.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serve pieces topped with caramel topping.
