Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 20 oz pineapple; crushed
- 1 cup pecans; chopped
- 1/2 cup butter; softened
- 8 oz cream cheese; softened
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
CAKE: Heat oven to 350'. Combine first 5 ingredients, then add pecans. Pour into ungreased 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake at 350' for 40 - 45 minutes. Cake will turn dark brown. Cool completely, and frost with cream cheese frosting.
FROSTING: Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
