Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 lb. chopped dates
Preparation
Step 1
Cook sugar milk and butter until forms a soft ball add dates, stir often on low heat until very thick bubbles will pop and hiss. Take off fire and add nuts and coconut beat until soft like cookie dough. roll candy up in clean candy cloth that has been soaked in cold water. Let harden then slice and eat. You can also sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
