Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

  • Prepare 1 9-10 inch pie crust and set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 c. shredded swiss cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • 2 c. half & half
  • 4 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • dash nutmeg and cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine bacon and cheese in bottom of crust. Mix together eggs, half & half, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and pepper and pour over bacon mixture. Drizzle butter on and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
