Skillet Macaroni with Cheese and Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 12 ounce pkg. macaroni
  • 1 can ( 14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 pound (2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine in skillet. Add macaroni and tomatoes. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 1 ½ cups water; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Sprinkle in flour. Blend well. Stir in milk and cheese. Simmer 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Pour into greased casserole dish, cover with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
