Ingredients
- 4 large strawberries, ripe, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- salt & pepper
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- or
- 1/2 cup pine nut (pignolia), toasted
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place strawberries in shallow bowl with vinegar and let stand 10 minutes. Whisk in olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
2. Dress salad with vinaigrette and top with almonds or pine nuts.
