Potato Stew

Ingredients

  • flour & oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds potato peeled
  • 1 package pickled meat
  • 1 large onion chopped fine
  • 5 cans vienna sausages drain and save water

Preparation

Step 1

Start by making a roux. Then add pickled meat and onion and cook until tender. Shred one potato and add to roux. Cut remaining potatoes into large chunks and add to roux. After cooking potatoes a few minutes, add water from vienna sausage cans and enough additional water to cover potatoes. Cook until potatoes are tender. Then add vienna sausages and cook for a short while.
