Ingredients
- FOR BROWN SAUCE
- 4 TBS low sodium soy sauce
- 1 TBS orange juice
- 1 1/2 TBS sriracha sauce hot sauce
- 1 TBS light brown sugar
- 1 TBS grated fresh ginger
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 lbs medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups broccoli florets
Preparation
Step 1
FOR BROWN SAUCE
In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, orange juice, sriracha, brown sugar, garlic, garlic, sesame oil and cornstarch. Whisk well to combine; set aside.
TO COOK
1. Heat the 1 1/2 TBS oil in a large (electric) skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Once warm, add the shrimp and cook until pink. (about 3 minutes)
3. Add the broccoli and continue cooking the mixture, stirring frequently until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the sriracha soy mixture, stir well to coat the shrimp and broccoli and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat and serve at once over brown rice or lo mein.
