Ingredients
- lb. loaf:
- 1/2 c. canned pineapple chunks, cut up and well drained (reserve juice)
- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. reserved pineapple juice
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sliced banana
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 1/3 c. chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. yeast
- lb. loaf:
- 1/3 c. pineapple
- 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp. reserved juice
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sliced banana
- 2 c. bread flour
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. shredded coconut
- 1/4 c. chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. yeast
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light Crust setting and press start.
After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
