Applebees Maple Butter Blondies

The sauce is for the ice cream you have with these. You don't need to make the sauce just for the blondies.

Ingredients
- 8 T butter, melted
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 c flour
- 1 1/2 c butterscotch chips
- For the sauce
- 1/3 c butter
- 1 c sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c real maple syrup
- 2 T brown sugar
- ice cream
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8x8 pan
In a large bowl, combine butter and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
Add egg, vanilla, and salt. Stir until blended.
Mix in flour until combined.
Fold in butterscotch chips and spread the batter into the pan and bake 25 min.
Sauce
In a med sauce pan, mix butter, sugar, cream cheese, maple syrup and brown sugar.
Cook over med heat and stir until smooth. simmer for 10-15 min stirring frequently.
Once the blondies are cooked and cooled completely, cut blondies into squares and serve with ice cream and drizzle sauce over the top.
