Quick Cape Breton Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen cod fillets
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of celery soup - (10 oz)
  • 1 can clam chowder - (14 oz)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Partially thaw fish. Cut into 1-inch pieces.

Saute onion in butter until translucent. Stir in soups, milk and water. Slowly bring to a boil. Add fish and simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until flesh is opaque and flakes easily. Sprinkle with parsley.
