Celery Sausage Dressing

Easy to make, this sausage stuffing is a family favorite! Serve with some browned pork chops for a nice weekend supper, or bring to the family Thanksgiving feast!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces stuffing mix
  • 1 pound sausage, roll
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 cups boiling water or turkey broth

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage in a large skillet. Drain fat and add the sausage to the stuffing mix.

Melt the butter and saute celery and onions in the same skillet used to brown the sausage. Pour this mixture over the stuffing/sausage mixture, toss with a fork and add boiling water.

Bake at 325°F until warmed through and the top is a bit crunchy.
