Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar and Butter

  • 1 lb. bacon, cut into thirds
  • 1 lb. smokies
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie. Place all the wrapped smokies in single layer in a baking dish. Melt the butter and 1 c of the brown sugar and stir until well mixed. Pour butter mixture over the smokies. Take another up of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over all.
Bake about 15-20 mins. Then turn heat up to 400 for about 5 mins or longer until bacon is crispy.
