Broccoli/Cauliflower Casserole

  • 1 (16 oz) pkg frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1 (16 oz) pkg frozen cauliflower cuts
  • 2 T margarine
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, cut up
  • bread crumbs
  • butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook vegetables. Set aside.

Melt margarine in large saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Add milk and whisk well. Cook and stir constantly until thick and bubbly. Add cream cheese.

Melt butter and add bread crumbs.

Combine vegetables and cheese mixture in casserole pan. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top.

Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 - 30 min.

Great over pasta!
