Ingredients
- Mix:
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup barley flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Add:
- 2/3 cup butter milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix well. Knead for 10-12 strokes. Divide in half. Roll each out to 1/8" thickness, 9x9 square. Cut into 16 pieces each. Fry in oil at 370, 3 at a time.
