Creme Brulee

Ingredients

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 T and 3T sugar
  • 1-1/3 whip cream
  • 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg yolks in bowl until light yellow, about 5 mins. Gradually beat in sugar. Heat cream in sauce pan over med heat until hot to the touch. With mixer running slowly pour half cream into egg mixture; stir into remaining cream in sauce pan. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until it thickens, about 5 mins. Do not boil. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour into dishes and refrigerate for 2 hours. Sprinkle with the 1-1/2 t sugar on top and use it to brown.
