Chocolate Popcorn

Ingredients

  • Ingredients: 2 bags Microwave Popcorn (it is best to use non-buttered, Natural flavor)
  • 1 lb. Bag of Chocolate (those round chocolate disks that you melt).
  • I know you can get the Chocolate at Decorator’s Grocery, Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s.
  • 2 Tablespoons Paramount Crystals (can only be found at Decorator’s Grocery)

Preparation

Step 1

Pop the popcorn and place in large bowl. Melt the Chocolate disks in the microwave slowly (30 second intervals – stirring after each 30 seconds). When completely melted – add in the Paramount Crystals and stir until dissolved.

Pour the Chocolate mixture over the popcorn and stir with spoon until all the popcorn is coated.

Lay out on wax paper to dry. Sometimes I will add Colored Sugar Crystals as soon as I lay it out on the wax paper to give it some color (green/red for Christmas, black/orange for school colors (Go Iron!), red/Valentines Day, etc.)
