Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- Dash of ground cinnamon
- 2-7 1/2 oz pkgs buttermilk refrigerator biscuits
- 1 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 425. Grease ten 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups. In a small saucepan combine orange juice, sugar and cinnamon to make a syrup. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved; boil 3 minutes until liquid has reduced to 1/2 cup. Spoon 1 tsp syrup into each prepared muffin cup. Place 2 biscuits, side edge down, over syrup in each cup; let biscuits fall into "V" shape. Sprinkle inside each "V" shape about 1 1/2 Tbsp cheese. Drizzle each roll with about 1 1/2 tsp remaining syrup. Fill any empty muffin cups partway with water to prevent rolls from scorching. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Serve hot, makes 10 rolls.
