CRISPY FISH FILLETS

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg,
  • 2 Tbsp Prepared Yellow Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cup Instant Mashed Potato Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Oil, for frying
  • 4 Fish Fillets
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/4 cup Chives, finely chopped
  • Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, beat the egg, mustard, and salt. Set aside. Place the potato flakes in another bowl. Set aside. Squeeze the lemon on each fish fillets. Pour the oil in a large skillet and heat over medium heat. Dip the fillets in the egg mixture and then in the potato flake mixture. Repeat pattern once more. Make sure each fillet is evenly coated with the mixtures. Then put the fillets in the skillet and fry each side for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer the fried fillets to a plate. Sprinkle cheese on top. Then trickle the chives over the cheese and serve!
