Creamy Pesto Chicken & Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter (Smart Balance)
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. pesto sauce
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 cups whole wheat penne pasta, cooked and drained

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until well browned, stirring often.

Stir the soup, pesto, and milk into the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Stir in the pasta and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
