Step 1
peel and chop 3 large tart apples and cook in sauce pan with ¼ c sugar, ¼ c water, ¾ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp nutmeg for about 8-10 minutes until tender. Then take a goblet or parfait glass and spoon in crushed shortbread cookies, then a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then add apple mixture, then top with a few more crushed cookies and whipped cream. We tried this on 11/17/2008 and Jackie and I loved it, Ryan pretty much liked it and Kyle did not like it at all.
