Cashew "Alfredo" Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened, plant-based milk (more if needed)
  • 3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Mrs Dash - preferably garlic flavoured
  • 3 cloves garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth. Heat lightly in a saucepan, adding more plant-based milk as needed to achieve desired consistency. Serve over brown rice or bean pasta, or steamed vegetables.
