Bordelaise Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup shallots
  • 1 tsp thyme.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients
Reduce over a low heat
Strain into 1 cup quick brown sauce
Add 1 tbsp. cognac and ½ tsp lemon juice. Simmer for 1 minutes
Add 1 tbsp. chopped parsley.

Serve.
