Saturday Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Lb. canned tomatoes
  • 4 cups water or beef broth
  • 3/4 Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 1 Bay leaf1 con peas, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 3-4 carrots
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup Cup Celery
  • 1 tsp Thyme1/ tsp celery seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, onions and garlic Add tomatoes broth, seasonings and vegetables, Simmer 30 minutes.
Add rice and simmer 15 minutes more until rice is done, remove bay leaf before serving
