Tomato and Corn Saute

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups cooked whole kernel corn, fresh or 15 oz. can drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large tomato, peeled and diced

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add onion, green pepper, brown sugar and salt. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add corn and tomato; bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 5 minutes longer.
