Ingredients
- Layer #1
- Combine 1 lb mushrooms sauted in butter
- 1/2 Cup green pepper minced
- 1/2 Cup celery minced
- 1/2 Cup minced onion
- add to sauted mushrooms and saute for a few min.
- Layer #2
- 3/4 tea salt
- 1/2 tea pepper
- 1/2 Cup mayonaise
- Layer # 3
- 21/2 Cups cheese and garlic croutons ( save some for top)
Preparation
Step 1
Beat 2 eggs and 11/2 Cup milk together. Pour over the casserole and refrigerate overnight.
Before baking top with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and rest of croutons.
Bake about 1 hr and 15 min at 300
