  • Combine 1 lb mushrooms sauted in butter
  • 1/2 Cup green pepper minced
  • 1/2 Cup celery minced
  • 1/2 Cup minced onion
  • add to sauted mushrooms and saute for a few min.
  • Layer #2
  • 3/4 tea salt
  • 1/2 tea pepper
  • 1/2 Cup mayonaise
  • Layer # 3
  • 21/2 Cups cheese and garlic croutons ( save some for top)

Preparation

Step 1

Beat 2 eggs and 11/2 Cup milk together. Pour over the casserole and refrigerate overnight.
Before baking top with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and rest of croutons.
Bake about 1 hr and 15 min at 300
