Ingredients
- 2 c sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 c butter, cubed
- 1/4 c flour
- 2 c chicken broth
- 1/4 c half-and-half cream
- 1 T parsley
- 1 T salt
- 1/8 to 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1/4 t pepper
- 3 T white wine or chicken broth, optional
- 3 c cooked chicken
- 8 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
- 3/4 c shredded parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In lg skillet, cook mushrooms in butter til tender. Stir in flour, gradually add broth. Bring to boil. Cook and stir for 2 min til thickened. Remove from heat, stir in cream, spices and wine. Fold in chicken and pasta. Turn into greased 3 qt baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 min.
