Ingredients
- 2 c. diced pared apples
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. cold coffee
- 2 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. cloves
- 1/2 t. allspice
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add coffee. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, soda, cloves and allspice. Add apples, nuts and dates. Place in paper line cupcake tins. Bake at 375' for 30 minutes.
