Salmon with Brown Sugar and Mustard Glaze

Grilled salmon

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tablsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp finely grated giner
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and Freshly ground pepper
  • 8 salmon filets, 6 oz. each

Preparation

Step 1

On the side burner, melt the brown sutra, hone and butter in a small sauté pan over med high heat. Remove from the heat and whisk in the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and ginger. Let cool

Preheat grill to med heat. Brush salmon with veg oil and season with salt a d pepper to taste. Place the salmon skin side down on the grill. Coat the flesh of the salmon filets with the brown sugar mixture. Grill 6 to 8 minutes to med doneness, turning once after 5-6 mins.
