Ingredients
- 12 sea scallops
- 12 slices bacon (thinner cut)
- 12 sage leaves
- salt & pepper to season
- 12 toothpicks
- lemon wedge to garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Wrap each piece of scallop with a sage leaf and piece of bacon. Thread toothpick through the bacon, scallop, and sage.
Place a grid rack on a sheet pan. Arrange the bacon bundles on top of rack. Place in the oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until bacon is done. Remove from oven and place on plate. Garnish with lemon wedge.
