Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • Bacon drippings
  • 2 cans (16 oz. each) pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup syrup
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • Dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon until crisp, and drain. Sauté onion in drippings.

Combine all ingredients except bacon in a greased 1 ½ qt. casserole dish and mix well. Top with the bacon.

Bake at 350˚ for 45 minutes.
