Ingredients
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1 T minced shallots
- 2 t chopped capers
- 1 T chopped dill pickle
- 1 T caraway seeds, toasted
- 8 hot dogs, cooked
- 8 hot dog buns
- 8 slices crisp, applewood smoked bacon
- 1 c chopped tomatoes
- 4 c shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1/3 c small basil leaves
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a medium bowl, whisk the mayonnaise with the shallots, capers, pickle
toasted caraway.
2. Put the cooked hot dogs in the buns, top with bacon and tomoatoes. Toss
the lettuce with the basil with some of the caraway remoulade. Top the
dogs with the slaw.
3. Serve any remaining remoulade on the side
